Year 6 STEM Careers Talk

An opportunity for one or more role models from the STEM world who could talk to Year 6 children (15-20 minutes) about what a career in STEM can look like and could ignite the possibility of a future in STEM in those children who don’t have any exposure or a misconception of it already.

The children are doing the "Beat the Flood" STEM activity, where they are creating a structure depending on their scenario that will be flood resistant. So someone with architectural knowledge, engineering, environmental etc. would fit well but it’s not essential – anyone from any Science, Technology or Engineering background/industry would be great.  Dates are 16th, 17th, 20th June.
