British Science Week Online Sessions with STEMAZING
Aimed at 7 - 11 year olds:
'Wonderful Water'
Join us during British Science Week (6th - 15th March) and take part in a 'Wonderful Water' session delivered by one of our STEMAZING role models.
Will will be asking all the important questions about water, why it is important and how it helps our planet. The children can take part in 2 exciting experiments looking at properties of water and then we will finish with a wow-factor demo that will leave the kids amazed!

All sessions will last 1 hour and will be delivered on Zoom.
Equipment needed in school (it is best if children work in pairs or small groups to share equipment):

a small bowl of water (to share 1 between 2 children)

a piece of kitchen towel (to work on)

pipettes (to share 1 between 2 children)

coins (a 1p and 2p coin per pair)

glitter or pepper
-
small amount of washing up liquid
Every child who takes part will get a completion certificate to take home (electronic versions will be emailed to teachers)
Note: Schools will need to provide their name, address, and an estimate of participants. Once registered, the Zoom link will be sent straight to their inbox.
